For those who like reaching summits, Śnieżka is a must-see place in the Karkonosze National Park. It is the highest peak of the Karkonosze Mountains and the Sudeten Mountains. According to the newest measuring, its height above sea level is 1603.3 m (5260.2 ft).
One of the greatest attractions in Karpacz. A wooden medieval church dated back to the 7th century. It was erected in the Norwegian town of Vang and brought to Karpacz in 1842. The Wang Temple is believed to be the oldest wooden church in Poland. It is located at 885 m (2903.5 ft) above sea level.
It's a PTTK mountain shelter situated on the trail to Mount Śnieżka. It's really worth seeing if Karpacz is your holiday destination. The landscape dominated by Mały Staw (Small Pond) is absolutely breathtaking. Samotnia – one of the oldest mountain refuges in the Karkonosze Mountains – is located in the cirque of the pond.
It’s another must-see place for our guests. It is only around one kilometre (0.6 miles) away, an easy trail and the views are stunning. It’s a granite-gneiss outcropping with a commanding view stretching over the gorgeous Karkonosze Mountains, including Śnieżka.
Those who climb Śnieżka from the side of the ski line leading to the hill of Kopa, should definitely see the Wild Waterfall. The waterfall is located on the Łomnica river. This place has its unique vibes in every season of the year.
The tourist centre of Karpacz: bustling with life, teeming with restaurants, cafes, shops, traditional goat’s cheese (oscypek) and mulled wine. It is located at Konstytucji 3 Maja Street, whose fragment is a car-free zone. It’s a perfect choice for a family walk as well as a social get-together.
On your way from Leśna Kąpiel to the pedestrian precinct, you can visit the Sports and Tourism Museum in Karpacz. The pole building itself is an impressive sight. Inside, you can find out what sports the Karkonosze Mountains are famous for. Did you know that one of them was bobsleigh?
